Volunteers make it Happen at Aboriginal front Door Society!
Generally speaking, volunteers are selected based on the following criteria:
- A good understanding of the needs and issues of DTES Aboriginal People
- Completion of an application form
- Majority age of nineteen (19)
- Willingness to undergo normal orientation, training, supervision, and understanding that evaluations will be carried out, documented, and maintained in individual confidential files which will be kept securely filed.
- Volunteers must conduct themselves in a manner which reflects positively on the Aboriginal Front Door Society, and in keeping with the vision and mission of the Society.
